Based upon the forth-coming Fantasy Tournament Component, Fantasy Formula 1 2009 is an almost fully integrated Component, update Component and some auxiliary modules which allow you to run a Fantasy Formula 1 game based upon the FIA 2009 Season.

Updates of the software and race results will be e-mailed to purchasers throughout 2009 season as soon as possible after each race. N.B. ONLY for 2009 season.

We now have native Joomla 1.5 language support (compatible with Joom!Fish etc.) for Dutch, German and Spanish as well as English - all translated by native speakers. French, Italian and Portugese are available but not by native speakers (yet).

Database installation and Updates currently require access to PHPMyadmin or equivalent but are straight forward.

Download bundle contains readme installation instructions and 1 component to select and update team selection for registered users). Also contains 6 modules of varying use.

Players just pick 2 drivers and 2 cars for each race and decide upon your their team's name. See demo site at fantasy-formula-1.com and register for the free game.

History: We started in an office in Watford in 1998 as a spreadsheet, then moved on to PHP/MySQL in 2000, then Java/JSPs in 2001, then STRUTS in 2002, then back to PHP as a Joomla!/Mambo CMS component in 2005. We had derivative versions for Wimbledon, Big Brother, World Rally, Six Nations Rugby, Football/Soccer World Cup.

The Components are designed to work with Joomla 1.5 and have been tested with version 1.5.8 and 1.5.9 . It may work with other versions of Joomla. Last year's component designed for Joomla 1.0.x and possibly compatible with Mambo 4.5.2 can be requested if you do not have a Joomla 1.5 site.

The "Fantasy Formula 1" Component and its supporting Modules is GrayMoose's only commercial release and retails for 30 GB Pounds (approx 32 Euros). We take support very seriously and have helped iron out installation difficulties with current customers. Its development costs to date are equivalent to tens of thousands of pounds!

Now updated to version 1.5i with sql injection protection and encryption.
