VirtueMart Manual Order Entry - Add Mail, eMail and Phone Orders As A Customer

VM administrators can enter their customers orders for them. A Manual Order Entry system for the VirtueMart Control Panel. It will add a "Add Orders" link on the menu under Orders.

Add Orders will let a Joomla site admin Add Phone, eMail and Mail Orders As Customer. It works with joomla 1.0.15 and 1.5.x series and the VirtueMart 1.1.2 and 1.1.3.

To use the Vituemart Add Orders, simply login into your joomla administration CP, and navigate to your VirtueMart Component Control Panel. Click on Orders on the menu and under that the Add Orders link will appear. Click on it and fill in the order form. It has all of the features that your customers have when placing an order from the front end of your site. You can even use your existing VirtueMart coupons.

I have used it on several live sites and shared it with several other VM users and it works fine.

If you use it, as with all extensions, test it on a dev site first.

So, what this does is makes it so that when you get an order in the mail or on the phone, you can place the order for the customer, just like you would using a commercial system like mail order manager (MOM). You can enter coupons and create multiple customer shipping addresses. You can use PayPalPro if you have a PPP account, or you can use standard paypal.

And because all of your orders can now be placed on your site, you can do a file export to quickbooks or whatever accounting software you use. I used it with simpleport.

This is much better than using Virtual Terminal for placing customer orders as this will keep all of your orders on your VM site and not split between VM and PP.

Once you create your customers account for them, it will even send them their user account information so they can log on to the site and view their accounts orders.
